Update 400

Good Morning Redeemer Family

Sermon Recordings

This week, Sean preached from Hebrews 7:23-25, reminding us that Jesus, our forever High Priest, is able to save completely (to the uttermost!) all who draw near to God through Him. He lives forever, His intercession never stops, and our Salvation is secure. Yet, we are often tempted to seek satisfaction elsewhere, feeding on things that cannot truly sustain us. Jesus offers a better hope that anchors us, sustains us in trials, and calls us to find our deepest satisfaction in Him alone.

If you weren’t able to make it, or if you’d like to listen to it or any previous sermons again, they’re all available here.

Midweek Study

Continuing with our core value of Missional Love, we’ll be focusing this term, again, on Evangelism by asking an important question:

What is the Gospel, and how can I share it with others?

Many of us have heard and responded to the Gospel ourselves, but are we able to clearly explain it to others? And more than that, can we communicate it in a way that people genuinely understand? While the core message of the Gospel never changes, Scripture uses a rich variety of images and language to describe its different aspects. We’ll explore how these can help us share the good news faithfully and effectively in different contexts.

Our fourth session is on TONIGHT from 7:30–9:00PM at

Rex’s house (234 Omata Road).

Each night will build on the previous ones, but they’ll also work as standalone sessions, so come when you can.

Come along and be equipped and encouraged as we grow together in Missional Love!

Monthly Men’s Breakfast

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be hosted by Mike Oakes at 87 Veale Road

No more double-bookings!

The Book Corner

Are you joyfully serving Christ… or just exhausted?

Many of us serve in church, at home, and in countless unseen ways—but sometimes it feels like we’re running on empty. Joy fades, weariness grows, and we start to serve out of duty rather than delight.

In Serving Without Sinking, John Hindley helps us rediscover the freedom Jesus offers when He said, “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” This short, warm, and practical book turns our eyes away from our service and back to the greatest Servant of all, Jesus, who first came to serve us.

Hindley shows how wrong views of God, people, or ourselves can drain the joy from ministry. He reminds us that Christian service isn’t about impressing God or others, but responding in love to the One who has already done it all. He helps us find fresh motivation for serving with gladness through helpful illustrations and gospel-rich encouragement.

If you’re feeling weary in ministry or simply want to guard your joy as you serve, this book will be a refreshing read.

Highly recommended… but be quick, there’s only one copy available in the church library!
