Update No. 405
Good Morning Redeemer Family
Sermon Recordings
This week, Sean preached on living faithfully as Christians in the wilderness, learning to distinguish between our God-given Responsibilities: the things God expects and requires of us in faithful obedience, and our Concerns: the things we must entrust to Him, knowing the outcomes are in His hands. He encouraged us to move beyond head knowledge and apply the gospel practically, especially in difficult relationships, by faithfully obeying what God has called us to do and trusting Him with what we cannot control.
If you weren’t able to make it, or if you’d like to listen to it or any previous sermons again, they’re all available here.

Chalmer’s Christmas Service
A big thanks to everyone who came along to the Chalmers Christmas Service!
Just a reminder that Redeemer has also been invited to hold a regular monthly “meet and greet” style gathering with the residents at Chalmers. If you’d like to join in, please chat to Sean!
Thanks From The Rogers
Another big thank you to all those who helped and offered to help the Rogers move; you are very much appreciated!
Summer In The Psalms
For the next two Sundays, we will be meeting outdoors at Brookelands Park, near the old chimney. These services will be shorter than usual and will be followed by a time of fellowship (and maybe a game of cricket for those who are interested).
At this stage, the weather is looking great, but if it happens to be raining, we will meet in the hall as usual. We will keep you posted!
Catalyst Magazine: December 2025
Across the Catalyst family, there is a growing sense that God is doing something new. The stories we are hearing — of personal transformation and renewed faith — have been described as a move from winter to spring. This issue of Catalyst Magazine gathers those testimonies together, offering encouragement and reminding us that God’s Spirit is actively at work among us.
Reflection For The Week
“The reality is this. God will empower me to do the things that he has called me to do, but he will not do them for me. That's a hard thing to get your head around… If we don't do the things that God calls us to do, and we wait for God to do what we should be doing, what needs doing gets left undone. And so we have neglect… We are called to actively follow and move towards responsibility and not passivity… We are called to move towards the responsibility that God has given us.”
